Sgt. Steve Reppert

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Sergeant Steve Reppert who passed away on Friday at his home. Circumstances are unknown and the investigation continues by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. Unfortunately, as we all know these investigations can take several months to conclude. As SPEA is made aware of any information we will share with you all.
While Sgt. Reppert was not a member of SPEA, SPEA has been asked to support his family in various ways. The SPEA Executive Board voted to provide $500 to support Sgt. Reppert’s family in this hard time in order to provide meals and cover incidental costs. We have published a vote to the membership to provide two plane tickets for Sgt. Reppert’s parents to fly in. Please check your emails and vote on that. Due to the cost it will require membership approval.
At this time we do not have specific information on services, but as we learn them, we will share with you all.
